REDUCTION-OXIDATION (REDOX)

Reduction-Oxidation (REDOX) converts hazardous contaminants into less toxic compounds that are less mobile and/or inert.

REDOX involves the transfer of electrons from one compound to another. One compound is oxidised (loses electrons) and one is reduced (gains electrons).

For example, (toxic) hexavalent chromium is converted into (non-toxic) trivalent chromium.

COAGULATION-FLOCCULATION (CF)

CF involves a 4 step process: ⁠

1. Coagulation: When added to water, LifeFX Living Water Droplets cause invisible, suspended fine particles (also known as dissolved solids) to destabilise, or neutralise. This allows the particles to come closer together and they form clumps that make it easier for these dissolved solids to separate from the water molecules.⁠

⁠2. Flocculation: During this process, the clumps of dissolved solids (bacteria, toxins, impurities etc) that have formed during coagulation gather together (floc) into clusters. The contaminants are now insoluble and neutralised. ⁠

3. Precipitation: After steps 1 and 2 have completed, the insoluble and inert contaminants solidify as they precipitate out of the water.⁠

4. Sedimentation: The precipitates from step 3 settle to the bottom of your water container as sediment. ⁠

What are the ingredients of LifeFX Living Water Droplets?

Over 80 trace minerals are naturally occurring in our ionic, crystalline volcanic sulfate source. Specifically we use biotite which is otherwise known as black mica. Biotite includes alum, cerium, chromium, cobalt, lanthanum, lithium, nickel, rubidium, scandium, selenium, silicon, strontium, sulfur, titanium, and vanadium. 

The highest concentration of elements is as follows:  

• Iron: 1,330.0 PPM
• Magnesium: 451.0 PPM 
• Potassium: 271.0 PPM
• Phosphorus: 30.5 PPM
• Calcium: 26.3 PPM

*PPM (PARTS PER MILLION) are the units used to measure mineral concentration. Exact mineral content of each individual bottle of LifeFX Living Water Droplets will vary slightly because the minerals are from a naturally occurring, unadulterated source. What is the pH of LifeFX?

LifeFX sits at a lower pH like lemon (2.0-3.0) depending on the batch. While both LifeFX and lemon have low pH values, they are alkalising to the body. We do recommend starting with a higher pH water (over 7.6) when using LifeFX so that the overall pH balance of your water will hover around neutral after LifeFX is added.

Does LifeFX Living Water Droplets purify salt water?

No. LifeFX can only be used with any freshwater.

Can I use with rain water?

Yes, however because rain water is already highly acidic (usually between a pH of 5-6.5), we recommend to bring the pH up as well. If you are not using a filtration that raises pH, add a pinch of aluminum-free baking soda or bicarbonate to help.
