Our 100% pure organic matcha
The whole leaf of certified organic Korean Camellia Sinensis is harvested from the natural environment from where it grows, in open fields exposed to the elements which has the effect of intensifying the bio-chemical profile of the plants to be hardy and survive in the conditions. The harvest is then carefully dried, powdered and packed to maintain freshness and vitality. Sourced from a volcanic island in South Korea, the soils are incredibly fertile and rich in their nutritional profile, making our Matcha extra special. No other ingredients are added, including no sweeteners, flavours, fillers or bulking agents.
How to make the perfect brew:
For either of the below methods, it’s best to boil water and let it sit for 2-3 minutes before pouring. This allows the water to cool off the boil so it doesn’t scald the tea. Approximately 70°C is the best temperature to avoid overheating the enzymes and naturally high levels of antioxidants in matcha.
To prepare a tea:
Add 2-3 grams powdered Mayella Meta Matcha ™ to a cup or teapot of hot water, stir in well. Add honey or a slice of lemon if desired.
As a matcha latte:
Add 2-3 grams powdered Meta Matcha ™ to 1/4 cup hot water and mix in well. Heat your favourite milk (or froth if desired) and pour it into the matcha and water mix. Add honey to taste and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and pinch of nutmeg over the milk crema.

- Add 1/2 teaspoon to your smoothies to power up and add extra energy to your day.
- Delicious to include in your favourite Bliss Ball recipe for the perfect after pilates, yoga, gym class or exercise to continue the metabolic benefits of your workout. Add 1 teaspoon Meta Matcha per average recipe portion. Double quantity if you double the recipe.
