1972 "Coquillage" - Shell (Valued at $85.00)

This series was designed by Marie Lalique, Rene Lalique's granddaughter. The series ran from 1965-1976. Each plate is of limited production.

The plates measure 8 and 3/16ths of an inch in diameter. It is incised "Lalique France" on the back in the usual way, and it still retains the original sticker as you can see from the photographs. All of these plates are in absolutely perfect condition, although I do not have the original boxes.

I have 10 plates dating from 1967 to 1976, valued from $300.00 depending on the plate, while the issue price was $25.00 - $50.00 per plate. Lalique crystal values continue to climb to this day and are cherished by many as family heirlooms.
