A native of Alabama, Erin Johnson's photography captures the essence of freedom. Her work documents her travels, giving people the opportunity to share her experiences in the form of wall-adorning fine art prints to marvel at.

"Travel, nature and architecture - These are words that define my photography. I love photographing just about anything. I love getting lost on back country roads not knowing what I will find.'

Erin has penchant for extreme close-up shots - capturing detials typically unseen by the human eye in pin-sharp clarity. She has a penchant for vibrant, natural color and luscious lanscapes, as well as richly-pigmented flowers. Every print projects an effortless beauty, especially those which are obscured by sunlight. The imperfections in her work only increase the sentimental value.

"I was born and raised in Alabama. I have always had a love for photography. I received my very first camera when I was about 8 years old, but took my first black and white film class my senior year of high school. I was hooked! I studed graphic design and photography in college and started my business back in 2009."

Erin's taste for adventure through scenic countryside has led to an array of prints that span everything from animals, to rustic period dwellings and blooming flowers.

"My inspiration comes from nature & the beautiful colors & gorgeous landscapes that I have been lucky to see. I love old farms, barns, horses, animals, and flowers. The picture is even more stunning in person!"

"Aside from the internet, I sell my prints in a small shop in Elba, Alabama. Each photo is printed in a professional photo lab."

She typically opts for the daylight hours when escaping across land with her camera - sunlight is a focal element in much of her photography. She divides time between her studio and outdoor habitat, balancing them both with a practiced hand a highly sensitive eye.

Erin tells her life story through her work, with each chapter another collection of photographs, whether in her homestate of Alabama or across water to the beautiful Caribbean - her passion transcends location and language - its only concern is what's is depicted, visually.
