Buying Guide

Individuals, small brands and local businesses use Shoply's self service platform to open a shop and list products for sale.

Sellers set their own prices, write their own product descriptions, upload their own images and are responsible for all aspects of their listings.

Discover products by browsing the marketplace, users profiles, hot lists, or sellers shop pages.

Creating a Shoply profile makes it easy for you to save favourites, make wish lists and follow shops and like-minded shoppers.

Checkout

Products you want to buy are added to your basket and can be purchased in a single checkout even though they may originate from different sellers.

As with other marketplaces like Ebay and Amazon, when you buy on Shoply you are transacting with the seller and not the marketplace itself.

You pay the seller directly into their Paypal account. Shoply oversees the transaction making sure everything is efficient, safe and secure.

Immediately after you checkout you will receive an email confirming your order and containing all the sellers contact details so you can get in touch with them directly if needed.

Your Profile

Opening an account on Shoply will give you your own Shopping profile. Your profile is home to all your activity on Shoply and will grow automatically as you interact with the marketplace letting you share and organise the things you care about.

Your profile displays information about you as well as listing all products on the marketplace you have liked and the shops and profiles you have followed and who have followed you.

Based on your shopping tastes, Shoply will recommend products we believe you will like as well as profiles of other users and shops you have similar tastes with.

Your Shoply profile has it's own URL and can easily be shared with others.

News Feed

Your News Feed is a real-time stream of all the activity happening on Shoply tailered for you personally.

The News Feed aggregates what the shops and other users your are following are doing so you can keep updated quickly and easily

Shops you follow adding new products or having promotions, users you follow liking products or updating their profile will all appear on your News Feed making it simple for you to know what's going on with the people, products and shops you care about

Liking, Following & Sharing

Shoply places a high value on helping you find what's important to you, keep track of the things you like and share them with others.

As you move around the marketplace you can easily 'like' products. Doing so adds them to your profile for all to see whilst also appearing on your friends news feeds.

You can also follow shops and other users. Doing so allows you to easily keep aware of what they are up to on Shoply, so you never miss out on the latest products or trends you care about.
